To support the growth of healthy marriages, we have developed and trained Marriage Coaches who are available to meet with couples before and after they get married. These husband and wife coaches will get to know you and help you navigate the twists and turns of marriage. Fill out the form below and we will match you with coaches in your area.

The Block Church's stance on marriage is very clear. We believe in biblical marriage which is between one biological male and one biological female. You must be engaged or married to qualify for coaching.

Due to capacity, we are only able to provide dedicated coaching to current members and attendees of The Block Church. Please email rnieves@theblockchurch.org for external resources if you attend another church.

*PLEASE READ!* If you do not currently attend our church, our coaching requirement is that you attend one of our locations while you are being coached. If you choose not to attend, you will be added to the bottom of our waitlist as our coaching ministry is to serve TBC couples first.

COMMITMENT TO COACHING (PLEASE READ AND CHECK THE BOX if you are ready to make this commitment) *

Thank you for requesting Marriage Coaching through the Block Church. We take your desire for help seriously and look forward to matching you with a trained marriage coach. Because we do not charge for this service or pay our coaches, we do have several expectations in order to maximize their time with you. You must be engaged or married to qualify for coaching.

#1 You and your spouse or fiance must BOTH commit to coaching. Having one spouse or fiance without "buy-in" from the other will only lead to frustration. You BOTH must want this and be committed to the 6 sessions you will receive over the next 3-4 months.

#2 When you and your coaches set up a meeting, honor their time by making the meeting and being on time. Though we know that last minute emergencies can arise, you should, in general, not miss scheduled meetings. In order to honor our coach's time, if you miss two meetings, we will need to move you back onto the waiting list.

#3 Our coaches will normally give you a homework assignment at the end of each session. It is expected that you will take that assignment seriously as these resources are meant to help you apply God's principles to your relationship at home.

#4 Please note that it is a requirement for you to attend The Block Church in order to get 1 on 1 coaching with one of our marriage coaches. We also ask that you prioritize being at church weekly and join a Block Group for further development, growth and a community to support you in the journey.

#5 Our coaches are not licensed therapist/counselors. By checking the box, you are committing and acknowledge that you will be meeting with coaches who are trained by our Marriage Directors based on years of experience and training, not a licensed therapist/counselor. Should you need help beyond what we offer, we will refer you to a professional.
